Est. in 2017 under the mother company Momentium and the brewery is located at Stornespiren in central Ålesund.

Around 35 international workers from all over the world are permanently employed in the brewery. In addition to the manager and sales and marketing, the cooks and waiters, and above all that, the master brewers, also play an important role in Molo.

Molo's brewing

Molo is a brewery and also a restaurant. The beer offered is from their own production, which takes place under the same roof. Molo produces its own beer several times a week. A distinction is made between annually available and seasonal beers. They offer a total of 25 freshly tapped beers, which differ greatly in taste.

40-50,000 liters of beer are brewed in Molo per year.

The brewing process is typically 6-8 hours long and the fermentations are running from two weeks up to six months.

Molo uses approximately 15,000kg of malt and 300kg of hops per year for brewing.
